Zumba targets lots of different muscle groups at once for total body toning. It boosts your heart health and helps you destress. Besides that - it's fun! Residents at our Great Bend facility are really enjoying their new zumba class! ...

Congratulations to Shaunee Jestis who was chosen Butler's Employee of the Month. Shaunee is a CNA and has been with the Medicalodges family for a year. Shaunee chose to work at Medicalodges because she loves helping others. She says the best thing at Medicalodges Butler is the nursing staff. She loves to make people laugh.
When she's not working, Shaunee loves kayaking, swimming and makes sure she drinks plenty of water.
A word of advice to her fellow coworkers - "Get your showers done before mealtimes and don't stop moving!"
Thanks for all you do Shaunee! You are truly appreciated! ...
Thinking of all our fellow Kansans affected by the fire at the Tyson Beef Plant in Holcomb, Kansas.
Great job representing us all! I started my long term care at 5yrs old sitting on the floor of the beauty shop while my mother (cma) also did hair on weekends for the residents. Love what I do and see that you do as well. God bless!
Misty Brooks is one of the most dedicated, compassionate person I ever worked for. Those residents are so blessed along with the staff.
Marie Harris Dunham you and Dad are the reasons “why I care”. I watched you both do SO MANY good hearted things for our residents! You taught me compassion, dignity, and respect for ALL people without even using the words....just actions. Thank you for being such great role models!❤️
Medicalodges Inc. Is a wonderful organization that gave me the foundation to pursue what I thought would be a 5 year plan in Healthcare and then I would switch to a career in education. I finished the education degree and under the leadership and mentoring of a truly remarkable preceptor Karen Richard's Hockenbury, I pursued my administrator in training program at ML/Goddard. I have now been a NHA for 27 years and on August 27, 2019 I will celebrate my 32nd year in LTC. The first 10 years spent with Medicalodges!! I chose not to switch over to education because I have the best of both worlds as an administrator, nurse and teacher. I love what I do and am looking forward to the next 20 years!! Thanks again Medicalodges for believing and encouraging me. Thanks especially to Allan Ediger, RVP for taking a chance on a young small town fella!
Medicalodge of Bulter rocks

I’m so proud of you Misty Brooks you are so very good at what you do!!
What a wonderful day at Ark City as these two lovebirds renewed their wedding vows. Married for 46 years and still going strong. We all wish you several more to come. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs Willard. Thank you for sharing your special day with us.
Team Dewey did it again! Congratulations for another outstanding survey!
This year's celebration included a mexican buffet catered by Sabores Mexican restaurant followed by a beautiful and delicious cake from Cakes by Codi.
We are all proud of our Dewey team for the care they provide. Way to go!!

How does your garden grow? Well in Atchison it grows with the help of the lions club. Volunteers came out and did a garden makeover while residents watched the progress. Big thank you to our friends who took on this task! We truly appreciate it! ...
Our administrators are awesome leaders! Today Goddard's administrator, Jean Altenor, joined the direct care staff for lift training. The consensus is...Jean is a pretty cooperative resident.
